About Us

Seasons is a wedding and event venue with more than five decades of service. Owner James Esposito transformed Seasons  in 1980 after taking over the facility from his parents who ran it as a restaurant beginning in 1959. Since that time, the Esposito family has extended their warmth, dedication, and unparalleled service to guests.

Located conveniently between interstates 91 and 95 in East Haven, CT, Seasons is just minutes from downtown New Haven and many points along the Connecticut shore. Our venue offers affordability and convenience with top-notch cuisine and service. We hold only one event at a time so that we can provide undivided, personal attention to our guests. Bridal consultants Renee Esposito and Olivia Quiello guides couples planning their weddings at Seasons through every step of the process.

Seasons is traditionally decorated and features a cocktail lounge accented in warm mahogany. When the New England temperatures dip outside, our two fireplaces are ablaze providing warmth and simple elegance.

Our cuisine is expertly prepared by executive chef Joe Onorato and his team. They are known for creating delicious hors d’oeuvres and entrées and are always happy to customize your menu. We offer many special options ranging from specialty coffees, such as cappuccino, espresso and lattés, to frozen drinks.

James Esposito

Owner & Executive Chef

After transforming Seasons into a private event venue in 1980, Jim began hosting weddings, private events, holiday parties, and more. He oversees all aspects of Seasons from working with our Co-Executive Chef to plan menus to showing the facility to potential clients. Jim takes great pride in the history of Seasons and providing top-notch meals and service to all of our guests.

Renee Esposito

Owner & Bridal Consultant

Renee has been a Bridal Consultant at Seasons for the last 5 years. She meets with clients to help them plan their events and walks them through every step in the process. She recommends vendors and acts as a liaison to ensure that everyone is in the right place at the right time.

Olivia Quiello

Bridal Consultant

With a background as a buyer for an upscale clothing store, Olivia began working as an assistant at Seasons in 1989. She now serves as our bridal consultant and coordinates events. She meets with clients to help them plan their events and walks them through every step in the process. She recommends vendors and acts as a liaison to ensure that everyone is in the right place at the right time.

Joe Onorato

Co-Executive Chef

Joe started working in the Seasons’ kitchen when he was 16 years old. He went on to earn a degree in Business Management with a concentration in hospitality. After graduating from college and owning a successful sandwich shop for many years, Joe returned to Seasons in 2010 as our executive chef in charge of food and beverage service. He oversees the kitchen, its staff, and ordering.
